COCC Named among Best Places to Work in Connecticut Five Years Running

COCC is a Best Place to Work in ConnecticutFor the fifth year in a row, COCC has been named to the Hartford Business Journal’s Best Places to Work in Connecticut.

In an awards ceremony on February 15, 2017, COCC was listed as one of forty companies throughout Connecticut with the highest employee satisfaction as determined by a survey administered nationally by the Best Companies Group.

Now in its twelfth year, the Best Places to Work in Connecticut program was created by the Hartford Business Journal and Best Companies Group to identify and recognize best places to work in the state of Connecticut. All participating companies undergo a two-part workplace assessment process including an employer questionnaire and an employee engagement and satisfaction survey. Companies then receive an in-depth benchmarking report enabling them to compare themselves against other companies.

COCC is honored to have been placed on the list in the large companies category for the fifth year in a row.

“Workplace awards such as Best Places to Work help us to attract top talent,” said Richard A. Leone, CEO of COCC. “The most talented people in Connecticut see that we are a great place to work, and they come on board to join our family.”

In 2016, COCC also was named a Top Workplace in Connecticut by the Hartford Courant for the sixth year in a row.

“We continue to earn fantastic accolades as an employer of choice, but for us, it’s not necessarily about the award,” said Mr. Leone. “The in-depth feedback report that we get from the Best Places to Work survey gives us incredibly meaningful feedback to see how we are doing as an employer. This feedback helps to shape our employee engagement initiatives, benefits and more.”
