1967
COCC Opens for Business
The first office is located in Hartford, CT.
Fifteen clients convert to deposit services.
1973
Online NOW
COCC becomes the first data center to offer online real-time processing for NOW accounts.
COCC gains national recognition as Massachusetts banks sign up, doubling the client base.
1976
First System Migration
All clients migrated to new online software running on new hardware.
COCC adds account maintenance functions plus new reporting.
1980
Client Report Cards
First data center to introduce a client report card rating system to measure service quality.
1987
Check Processing Services
COCC introduces check processing services.
First credit union converts.
1988
COCC Acquires WMCC
COCC acquires Western Massachusetts Computer Center.
Twenty new clients and 18 WMCC staff members join COCC.
1997
COCC Celebrates 30 Years of Excellent Service
Acquisition of open core processing platform from Open Core Solutions, Inc. and introduction of check image statements and internet banking services.
1999
Year 2000 Preparations Commended
COCC receives national recognition for year 2000 testing and documentation. COCC model endorsed by the FDIC.
Oracle Financials introduced.
2002
Rich Leone Elected President & CEO
Market expanded to include New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
New services introduced, including a robust suite of commercial services
2003
Client Migration Complete
COCC becomes the first financial data processing center to migrate all of its clients to an open core platform.
Featured in MicroBanker cover story.
CUVIsion of Rochester, NY acquired.
Client ratings reach record levels.
2005
Check Image
COCC converts its first check-image processing clients which become models for the industry.
Anti-money laundering and automated patches systems installed.
2007
40 Years of Outstanding Service
COCC celebrates its 40th year of outstanding service with record earnings and client ratings.
Document Management and Business Process Management systems introduced.
2010
Introduction of Cash Management Services
Becomes first data processing center to use solid state disks

Top Workplace
The Hartford Courant and FOX TV name COCC a top workplace.
Introduction of INSIGHT Apps
COCC partners with Verafin for AML services (FRAML)
Introduction of free check image duplicate detection services
2012
Best Bank Technology
Readers of the weekly Banker & Tradesman newspaper vote COCC the number one bank technology service in Massachusetts.
Betsy Didan recognized for her work to reduce paper and increase the speed and security of payments.
COCC wins “Most Clued-In Senior Management” and 3rd place in 2012 CT’s Top Workplaces competition.
2013
Breaking into Mobile Banking
Releases iBanking integrated mobile and internet banking
Dave Christie named CFO of the Year by the Hartford Business Journal
COCC is named one of Connecticut’s Best Places to Work by the Hartford Business Journal, a Top Workplace by the Hartford Courant, and receives its second consecutive Best Banking Technology award from Banker & Tradesman.
2014
New Headquarters
COCC opens new headquarters in Southington, Connecticut, featuring an innovative new training center that will help achieve a truly collaborative approach to creating the most comprehensive solutions for our clients.
COCC introduces new logo and collaboration branding.
For the fourth consecutive year, COCC is named one of the Top Workplaces in Connecticut by the Hartford Courant.
2015
Top Recognition Continues
President & CEO Rich Leone named as a Top Leader in the midsized company division by the Hartford Courant/FOX CT.
For the fifth consecutive year, COCC is named a Top Workplace in Connecticut, placing third in the midsized companies division.
COCC wins 2015 Gold and Silver Awards in Banking Technology and Accounting/Audit, respectively.
COCC is honored by the Hartford Business Journal as one of 2015’s Best Places to Work.
COCC introduces executive dashboard reporting product, partnering with SNL Banker.
Client ratings reach 4.5 out of a possible 5.
