Maple City Savings Bank Chooses COCC for Integrated Core Processing Solution

Maple-City-Savings-BankJuly 2016, Southington, Conn. – Maple City Savings Bank, FSB of Hornell, New York has selected COCC’s core processing services for its tight integration, strong online banking solution and family-oriented culture.

A 100-year-old bank, Maple City’s goal is to remain independent for another hundred years and beyond. As a smaller institution, Maple City recognizes the need to deliver all of the products and services as their larger competitors. “Being able to keep up with what our competitors are coming out with, such as a good bill pay program, strong online presence and a top-notch mobile capture product, is key for us right now,” said Thomas Beers, President & CEO. “COCC will definitely improve our online business offering.”

Additionally, Maple City sought a core provider with seamless integration into different areas of the customer relationship. “We need our front line service providers to quickly handle all types of requests without having to transfer calls or wait for in-office personnel to become available,” said Mr. Beers. “And compared to other core providers, which had very complicated systems with too many key strokes, COCC was notably more efficient and integrated.” Maple City also enjoyed COCC’s engaging and efficient interface to the customer, which provided a unique and positive differentiation.

Many of COCC’s customers are small, mutually owned banks, like Maple City. “This type of ownership provides a more personal, family approach to the customers we serve,” said Mr. Beers. COCC’s partnership model has been a cornerstone of the company since its inception in 1967. “Working with institutions such as Maple City Savings Bank is always a great opportunity for us,” said Richard A. Leone, President & CEO of COCC. “These institutions work hard to serve their communities, and we appreciate the fact that our missions and cultures are often quite similar. We’re proud to have Maple City Savings Bank joining our collaborative and partnership.”
